Milan, 15-18 March 2016 – Running alongside the exhibition, MCE - MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT 2016 –, the world’s leading exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, HVAC, and renewable energies – features a rich calendar of conferences, seminars and workshops to deeply investigate market trends, legislation, economic projections for technologies and business case studies. NZEB - TECHNOLOGIES, TOOLS AND MARKETING STRATEGIES is the connecting thread running through MCE 2016. One of the hottest current issues that will be examined throughout the conference calendar and events, during the four-day exhibition to meet the needs of a large and diverse audience of professionals expected at the event, along with over 155,000 visitors.
INSTITUTIONAL CONFERENCES
The inaugural conference will take place on Tuesday 15 March 2016 (morning), with the presentation of the first Forecasting and Cyclical Report on the Market of Residential and Industrial Installations in Italy from 2016 to 2019, by CRESME. A unique analysis to explore the potential of the reference market in terms of size and profitability, driving GDP growth: the number of workers, companies, turnover to modelling the dynamics. The global industry sector comprises over 200,000 local units, with over 1 million employees. The residential installation industry alone generates €113 bn in revenue, with 188,000 businesses that employ more than 760,000 people (Data released by CRESME 2012). Thanks to the boost given by innovation and maintenance, the sector will witness an exponential growth in the coming years at an average annual rate of 4 – 5 percent until 2020. Some statistics will be presented at an audience of trade operators and representatives from industry and institutions.
Must not to be missed the final appointment of THERMO EVOLUTION: new rules – new opportunities, on 16 March 2016 (afternoon) dedicated to the effect of the new Energy Labelling Directive and Eco-design measures, as from 26 September 2015. Moreover, the session will provide an opportunity for reflection on the joint project of ANGAISA, ASSISTAL, ASSOTERMICA and MCE that has been carried out since last May. An itinerant format held all around Italy, providing trade operators with face-to-face meetings and training courses to investigate the new EU regulations. How did the markets react to this fundamental shift that occurred six month ago? What are the implications for the whole sector: industry, distribution or installation? Are end-users well informed and attentive? During the session the Ministry of Economic Development, and Enea, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, supporting the initiative, will offer updated scenarios on the industry sector.
