Milan, 15-18 March 2016, The curtain goes up on the 40th MCE - MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT, the International leading exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, HVAC and renewable energies organised by Reed Exhibitions Italia, where integration technology in all its facets are the very beating heart of the four-day event.

The strength of MCE is in its consolidated international outlook: 2,155 exhibitors, of whom 40% from abroad representing 55 countries, including Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas, with a rise in the number of participants coming from Japan, Turkey, Hungary, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates Poland; France Germany, Austria and Spain are in line with the previous edition. MCE 2016 confirms its leadership providing a complete overview of the latest groundbreaking solutions in the following sectors: heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, valves, components, sanitary technology, water treatment, renewable energies, domotics and building automation. Excellent numbers for MCE 2016 that reaffirms its leading position within a high technology industry segment, increasingly strategic in the current global economic scenario where innovation and energy efficiency are a key driver of growth. This is confirmed by the pre final 2015 balance sheet figures of ANIMA and forecast for 2016 presented by ANIMA Studies Office, the Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical, Engineering and Related Industries. According to this analysis, investments are on the rise (2.5% for 2015) and equal to 311 million Euros, and they are projected to increase by 1.6% in 2016 (316 million euros). On the other hand, from the production side HVAC industries have reported a 2.2% rise in 2015 (10 billion euros), with some positive signs from exporting figures (+1.4%) representing 62% of total revenues expected in 2016. A snapshot of a market that shows the first significant signs of revival where MCE sets out to bring excellence in this industry segment and liaise demand and offer at international level.

Wednesday, 16 March 2016 – (02.30 p.m. - 04.30 p.m.) will be handed over to THERMO EVOLUTION: from new rules to new opportunities, a perfect occasion for reflection on the joint project that ANGAISA, ASSISTAL, ASSOTERMICA and MCE have been developed since last May, across Italy, providing operators with face-to-face meetings and training courses to guide and train them in dealing with the new EU legislation on Energy Labelling and Eco-design as from 26 September 2015.

The conference programme of MCE 2016 will integrate with more than 140 training workshops, and educational seminars set up by the main trade associations and exhibiting companies during the four-day event enlivening one and all, covering the latest topical issues aimed at all those trade professionals that need to continuously update their skills to compete in domestic and international markets.

The most advanced systems and solutions to provide an overview on NZEB approaches, are at the heart of two consolidated initiatives, namely Percorso Efficienza & Innovazione a selection of 66 products showcased by 45 companies available online at www.mcexpocomfort.it, and Oltre la Classe A, aimed at highlighting the technological excellence of businesses that will be gathered together in a full-scale building located for the first time in Hall 2 where visitors can see with their own eyes how the house of the future will look like.

Once again, THAT’S SMART will be one of the strengths of MCE. The second edition of the event will cover a larger exhibition space dedicated to 50 companies showcasing a full overview of systems and solutions for a fully highly integrated planning and design reaching a high level of energy efficiency and saving, and real comfort related to Home & Building Automation, Smart metering, Electric mobility and Electric Renewable energies. Along the exhibition area a rich calendar of workshops dedicated to the current hottest issues and specifications of the industry.

A novelty for MCE 2016 will be MCEMASTER the physical and online meeting place aimed at HVAC companies and installers who wish to upgrade their technical and professional skills to provide end-users with a high level of service as well as increase their business. An initiative to be staged in a special area located in Hall 9, and conceived to respond to an evolving industry sector becoming more technological and more demanding, and that need to be continually updated. The objective is to create – through the MCE privileged platform – a network of cutting-edge highly skilled installers who can satisfy the company’s need of a qualified support to effectively market their products and systems.

Moreover, MCE – MOSTRA CONVEGNO 2016 will host TECNOPOLIS-CasANGAISA set up by ANGAISA (Italian Dealer Association for Plumbing and Sanitary Equipment, HVAC, Flooring, Tiles and Bathroom Fixtures and Fittings) a special new event held in a dedicated area located in hall 2. A reference point for the distributions arms showcasing advanced solutions aimed to logistics and warehousing industry as well as educational and cultural initiatives.

MCE 2016 will present SALDAMENTE with a new format inside the show located in hall 9, set up in collaboration with Castolin together with authoritative partners – dedicated to theory and practical training on welding and brazing processes. Lecturers will take place every day on welding techniques, TIG, MIG and electrode welding.

Once again, ANIMA, Federation of Italian Associations of Mechanical, Engineering and related Industries, will propose a special “Lounge” located in Hall 14718 dedicated to mechanical industry and innovative technologies on display at MCE, creating an unparalleled opportunity for exchange and discussion.
