Twin City Hose, Inc. is pleased to announce the Fire SafeFlex™, the newest addition to the extensive line of products currently offered by Twin City Hose. Fire SafeFlex™ are UL® Listed, V and U seismic expansion joint assemblies that have been rated for use in fire suppression systems. These UL® Listed assemblies are in accordance with NFPA 13 and UL 213 safety standard for fire suppression systems. The flexibility of Fire SafeFlex™ V and U expansion joint assemblies helps safeguard fire suppression pipe systems from various threats including unpredictable thermal and seismic movement and high-pressure.
UL® evaluates fire suppression hose and fittings to determine their suitability for use in water-based sprinkler systems. Pipe, hose, and fitting assemblies are subjected to performance tests such as leakage, corrosion, freezing, and hydrostatic pressure tests. Twin City Hose’s UL® Listed Fire SafeFlex™ assemblies are fabricated by factory trained and ASME certified welders using carbon steel and/or stainless steel materials. Every assembly manufactured by Twin City Hose is tested in factory, so you can install with confidence.
