ClimaCool Corp., an LSB subsidiary and manufacturer of leading industrial modular chillers and packaged rooftop solutions, announces its exhibition at AHR Expo 2016 (booth No. 1276), January 25 to 27 in Orlando. Recognized for innovative design and the continuous improvement on efficiency and sustainability, the company will highlight their award winning simultaneous heating and cooling modular chiller technology along with their dedicated outdoor air systems.

“ClimaCool products, engineered specifically to eliminate unnecessary costs and excess space requirements, are ideal for both retrofit and new construction,” said Ross Miglio, President of ClimaCool. “Focused on providing a high quality solution, ClimaCool produces industry leading efficiency, a smaller footprint and a sustainable alternative for a variety of high-occupancy vertical markets, from healthcare and critical facilities to hospitality and large auditoriums.”

Previously awarded the 2012 AHR Expo Innovation Award for Green Building, ClimaCool’s SHC onDemand heat recovery system was created with a focus on reducing energy consumption and the environmental impact of heating and cooling equipment by harnessing energy that is already being produced but not used. This focus results in a product that can contribute up to 28 LEED points for new or upgrading construction, and potentially lower energy costs by more than 50% compared to traditional systems.

The patent-pending six-header design effectively eliminates the required space between modules and allows for same end piping connections. When coupled with the already compact SHC, this saves 75% of the average footprint compared to traditional boiler/chiller systems and up to 40% when compared to typical simultaneous heat recovery systems, ultimately saving installation and operating costs. With bank sizes ranging from 15 to 1,000 tons, the compact, simplicity-driven system ensures load demands are still met.

Similarly, ClimaCool’s water-cooled, geothermal and packaged air-cooled modular chillers are designed for optimal efficiency and environmental leadership for an array of applications. Available in tons ranging from 15 to 85, ClimaCool’s water-cooled and geothermal sourced systems can be combined to obtain specific project turndown and capacity requirements from 15 to 1,000 tons per bank, adaptably accommodating future growth and expansion needs, and the packaged air-cooled modular chillers are available from 20 to 70 tons and can be arranged to provide capacity requirements from 20 to 420 tons per bank.

In addition, ClimaCool’s configured packaged rooftop solutions produce year-round dry, neutral air by utilizing an innovative and simplistic design with high-quality components while the make-up air units (MUA) provide new construction and renovation with a sustainable answer for dehumidification, energy recovery, heating, cooling and air quality. With common applications in education, healthcare and hospitality, where occupancy well being and comfort is mandatory, ClimaCool units excel, improving air quality and maintaining consistent temperature and ultra-quiet operation.

Dedicated outdoor air systems successfully neutralize and dehumidify air by cooling to a low leaving air temperature and then reheating to create comfortable indoor environments for occupants. Engineered for highest efficiency and decreased utility costs, ClimaCool’s packaged rooftop units employ smart design, exceeding ASHRAE 90.1 standards.  Dual R-410A scroll compressors matched with independent refrigeration circuits increase reliability and when coupled with a molecular sieve energy conservation wheel, ensure maximum energy efficiency and minimize operating costs for the whole.

About ClimaCool Corp.

ClimaCool’s modular chillers are utilized in a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications such as cooling, heat recovery, geothermal heat pump and simultaneous heating and cooling. When compared with conventional chiller and boiler systems, ClimaCool solutions occupy a minimal footprint and are easily maneuverable to create lower installation costs and improved placement flexibility. ClimaCool systems are more serviceable, maximize energy efficiency, provide true redundancy, offer expandability, have low operating noise levels, and utilize a micro charge of non-ozone depleting, chlorine-free refrigerant.
