With its patented design, LUX/ GEO is the only WiFi thermostat that can be installed with true-battery power and dual mounting positions – horizontal or vertical. The LUX/GEO gives the user full control with easy-to-understand programing and a built-in geofencing capability on the app that automatically puts the thermostat into an energy-saving mode when the homeowner is out of the house; it resets to provide optimal comfort when the homeowner enters the selected “fence.”
The LUX/GEO can be powered by system power C-wire, micro USB plug or AA lithium batteries. With up to 2 heat, 2 cool compatibility (heat pumps up to 2 heat, 1 cool), the LUX/GEO will work on virtually all systems. The LUX/GEO sets up quickly on any home WiFi system but it can easily be used without a WiFi connection – eliminating the need for the homeowner to be home or access to the home’s WiFi system.
