Embraco, one of the largest manufacturers of hermetic compressors for refrigeration, showcased several intelligent and efficient solutions for refrigeration at the 2017 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR) Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leading products Embraco is showcasing at booth #C4534 include the Fullmotion, EMC Compressor, Plug N’ Cool and Condensing Units.
Fullmotion
One of the hot topics that will be presented at the show is the new dual-voltage Fullmotion compressor, which brings considerable flexibility to the refrigeration chain. Fullmotion is an intelligent, fast-cooling and energy efficient solution for light commercial and medical applications, such as ultra-low temperature refrigerators, reach-in coolers and freezers, wine coolers, vending machines and ice cream machines. Its variable speed technology enables it to reach a target temperature very quickly and maintain the target temperature with less thermal fluctuation, helping to ensure better preservation of the content stored in the equipment. When the required cooling capacity drops, the Fullmotion works at minimum speed, helping to reduce power consumption in the refrigeration system up to 30 percent compared to conventional compressors. Fullmotion allows noise and vibration reduction, and its wide voltage range guarantees that the equipment will run perfectly, even with voltage fluctuations.
EMC Compressor
The EMC Compressor is one of the world’s most efficient single speed compressors and uses natural refrigerant R290, which has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP). The EMC Compressor is designed for beverage coolers, vending machines, under-counters and reach-ins. It features a smaller platform, with an extended cooling capacity that can replace larger compressors, releasing more internal space for the refrigerators.
Plug N’ Cool
The Plug N’ Cool is a complete cooling solution available for reach-in freezers and refrigerators in supermarkets, convenience stores and professional kitchens. The Plug N’ Cool is a highly efficient natural refrigerant solution that uses R290 and is in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy regulations, as well as compliant with the EPA GreenChill program. Its modular concept simplifies the installation process and offers flexibility for store layout and its self-contained concept does not require a machine room, providing more space for food retailers.
Condensing Units
Embraco’s Condensing Units are assembled with the company’s high quality and efficient compressors. Condensing Units are solutions that simplify the production as well as the replacement process, they are very robust and durable solutions and have a low energy consumption. They are available in ¼ to 1½ HP and use R134a and R404A for low, medium, and high temperature applications.
Technical Training
Beyond developing innovative products, Embraco is committed to supporting the market with its knowledge and expertise on tendencies and technical procedures. Additionally, to better serve the market and its customers, Embraco has distribution centers for compressors, parts and components in order to meet all customer needs.
Embraco will be holding two training sessions at its booth, #C4534. The training, titled “Advantages of Hydrocarbon Refrigerants & How to Safely Service Them,” will include a discussion of current and future legislation for refrigerants and the advantages natural refrigerants provide manufacturers and end users. The two-hour training sessions will be held Monday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 31st at 11:00 a.m.
