Air curtain manufacturer Berner International honored manufacturer representatives R. Williamson & Associates and SRS Enterprises with the company’s Rep of the Year 2016 Award.
The awards were presented at AHR Expo in Las Vegas in January.
Skokie, Illinois-based R. Williamson & Associates received the award for its commission and Middletown, New Jersey-based SRS Enterprises received the award for buy/resell reps. R. Williamson & Associates, a Berner rep since 1973, earned the Presidential Gold for Commission Reps Award with several high-profile projects, such as the installation of air curtains at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
“They’ve got longevity and the best product category knowledge in the industry,” said Michael Coscarelli, Berner’s national sales manager, who presented the award.
SRS Enterprises, which covers New York City, Long Island and northern New Jersey, was given the Presidential Gold for Buy/Resell Reps Award. Berner officials said SRS Enterprises had a successful year with retail stores, commercial buildings, hospitals and front-of-house projects like Macy’s Herald Square.
“SRS sells a lot of high-profile projects, such as New York’s Barclays Center and the Resorts World Casino,” said Steve Benes, a Berner sales manager. “When it comes to volume, they get the highest number of orders of any rep in the industry.”
Berner International also honored four other manufacturer representatives for 2016 sales achievements. Syracuse, New York-based Liberty Electric won the Silver Award for Buy/Resell Reps. Indianapolis-based S&J Equipment Co. won the Silver Award for Commission Reps. Montreal-based Vigmark won the Bronze Award for Buy/Resell Reps. Harrison Township, Michigan-based Bennett Holland and Associates won the Bronze Award for Commission Reps.
