New Wi-Fi connected devices change how commercial refrigerators operate, achieving unprecedented energy savings and efficiency.
Beijing and Palo Alto, April 7, 2016 -- Visible Energy Inc. today unveiled “Cloudfridge” a product line created specifically for commercial refrigerators that enables energy efficiency and monitoring services for the food and hospitality industry.
Based on proprietary design, the “Cloudfridge IoT Controller Router” is a new type of inexpensive, Wi-Fi connected, temperature regulating device, controlling and measuring energy consumption of the main refrigerator components. Visible Energy is demonstrating Cloudfridge at China Refrigeration 2016 in the US Pavilion, Booth #W1F20.
Cloudfridge is an example of how Internet connections are changing how we work and live. The Internet of Things (IoT), of which Cloudfridge is part, demonstrates how built-in communication plus cloud-based applications help drive the future.
Unlike existing systems, Cloudfridge collects a large amount of operational data from multiple sensors. The refrigerator’s temperature set points are constantly re-evaluated and adjusted, based on real-time data analysis taking place in the cloud.

Mr. Graziano is not new to disruptive technology, having pioneered with his previous startups both interactive Internet TV devices in the 90’s, and connected homes in early 2000’s.

All kinds of commercial refrigerators from walk-ins to reach-ins can be retrofitted with Cloudfridge products, for use in supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, hotels, pharmacies, food and hospitality industry.
