Embraco, world leader in sustainability and innovation and one of the largest manufacturers of hermetic compressors for refrigeration, introduces the newest Dual-Voltage Fullmotion Compressor, a highly efficient variable speed compressor that is capable of working in any energy grid worldwide, no matter the voltage and/or frequency.
“At Embraco, we innovate in order to make each customer’s life easier, and his or her business more profitable, while providing environmentally friendly options,” says Michel Moreira, Product Marketing Manager of Commercial Refrigeration. “The Dual-Voltage Fullmotion compressor achieves both of these goals, allowing customers to purchase one product for many uses and giving them peace of mind that they are choosing the most sustainable option.”
The Dual-Voltage Fullmotion is designed for several commercial applications such as Glass Door Upright freezers, Reach-ins and other machines with a cooling capacity between 1,100 British Thermal Units (BTU) per hour and 4,000 BTU per hour. This solution is the most energy efficient machine in its range of cooling capacity for light applications.
In an effort to provide sustainable solutions and comply with the upcoming regulations for energy efficiency (DOE2017) and refrigerant restriction (EPA SNAP), the Dual-Voltage Fullmotion was developed to be the best in class for natural refrigerants.
As a result of thorough research and development, the Dual-Voltage Fullmotion is a breakthrough platform for commercial refrigeration. Its dual-voltage feature allows it to be used for 100-127V and 208-240V applications, cutting costs by allowing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to purchase one model for multiple uses. This innovative technology has set the Dual-Voltage Fullmotion apart from all other compressors in the light commercial refrigeration market.
“This product is a great example of the achievable balance between innovation and sustainability,” says Moreira. “We are proud of the advancements that have been made in the Dual-Voltage Fullmotion Compressor and we are committed to continuing to bring innovations like this one to the light commercial refrigeration industry.”
