Top Tips for Ammonia Refrigeration and Safety Guide for Ammonia Refrigeration in New Zealand
Tuesday 25th May 2021 7.00 - 8.00 p.m.

New Zealand, with its population and climate very similar to Ireland’s, has a strong tradition in ammonia refrigeration. In 2016, Padraic Durham, a native of Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon, formed Gage Refrigeration in New Zealand. He has built the company to now be a major player in the arena of industrial refrigeration safety in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

In a special presentation to IRI members, Paddy will present an overview of his experience in refrigeration safety in New Zealand and will offer his top practical tips for ammonia refrigeration safety, taken from his widely acclaimed Safety Guide.

Paddy Durham is the founder and director of Gauge Refrigeration Management and has 25 years’ experience Installing, servicing and maintaining Ammonia Refrigeration systems throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands both on and off-shore.

Aside from Paddy's decades of practical application and technical ability, his interests and expertise lies with process safety and presenting it in a fun, simple and digestible language to a diverse range of audiences.

Paddy will make his presentation via web link through the platform.

Due to the 11-hour time difference between Ireland and New Zealand, the webinar will take place at 7 p.m. Irish time, (which is 6 a.m. in New Zealand.)
