2023 Vietnam Refrigeration Exhibition creates great opportunities for Chinese refrigeration enterprises
Recently, the organisers of the HVACR Vietnam informed RACC committee that the Vietnam Refrigeration Exhibition in July 2023 received active response from the industry. The exhibitors from South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, China and other countries and regions will group to participate in the exhibition. Though the organizer added one exhibitor hall for the increased business, the available booths are difficult to be applied. There are more than 100 Chinese enterprieses such as Aux, Juhua, Jintian, Detong, Feiyuan, Kaidi, Ximaike, Shiqiu, Dayang, Weipeng, Weike, etc signed up for the exhibition, which became the largest pavillion among the exhibitors.
With Vietnam's rapid economic growth, the real estate industry has shown explosive growth in recent years, driving huge market demand for consumer goods such as home appliances. As far as the refrigeration industry is concerned, in recent years, Samsung, Daikin, LG, as well as China's Midea, Haier, Sanhua, Jintian, Hailiang, Wolong Electric, etc. have invested in Vietnam to set up factories. Due to the imperfection of the local industrial chain, many refrigeration accessories still need to be imported from abroad, which also creates unprecedented opportunities for Chinese refrigeration enterprises.
Overview of trade between China and Vietnam
For many years in a row, China has been Vietnam's biggest trading partner, the largest import market and the second largest export market. Meanwhile, Vietnam is China's largest trading partner in ASEAN. In 2022, the trade volume between China and Vietnam reached 234.92 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. China's export to Vietnam reached 146.96 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.
