John Kim warmly invited me to his booth. I said we can stand and chat a bit, but he insist that we sit down. He opened several Korea Red bull. After a brief greeting, he told me frankly that many Korean think that Chinese products are bad, so they are not willing to buy Chinese product. But he know that China has very good product. 
“The reason why many Korean think Chinese product is of poor quality is the buy cheep things, and many Korean use those product and begin to complain about the quality. But if they are willing to pay for the quality, Chinese products are no less than Korean ones.”
“Why?”I asked.
John raised his head and looked at the hall’s celling, “We were very poor when I was little and I asked my mom, why we so poor? She did not reply, but I decided to be rich and I left home for Seoul when I was 17 and worked in a air conditioning factory, then I had my own factory. We have four suppliers near Seoul but one winter they can not supply for us.”
And our business started to fall apart.
“Next winter, I heard Bejing has a HVACR exhibition. I dressed up and wear a big bag,looking like a peasant, went to Beijing, ”

"I found one exhibitor that produce what we need. The boss was a very ugly woman with a surname Wang, her had really good stuff. I told her I would visit her factory. She paid no attention, several month later, I showed up in her factory in Taizhou and she was surprised. Her products are very expensive but I made an order, we were good partners ever since.”

"Our product had won the approval of major corporation like Samsung, LG afterwards.”John seemed very proud.
