At the 2016 AHR Expo, hop on a huge interactive booth on wheels, learn about new high-efficiency products, test out Rheem’s revamped apps and find out about a contractor contest with great prizes!
Rheem will kick off 2016 in style—bringing its new High Efficiency Air and Water Road Show to the AHR Expo. The Rheem High Efficiency Air and Water Road Show is an expandable 53-foot tractor-trailer that has a fully-connected classroom and meeting space. It also has interactive exhibits and touch-screen displays, as well as select high-efficiency heating, cooling and water heating products, including:
- The EcoNet™ Smart Home System. Developed by Rheem, the EcoNet system allows homeowners to manage high-efficiency, EcoNet-enabled Rheem and Ruud products from anywhere through a free mobile app or a wall-mounted Control Center. Earlier in January, Rheem announced an integration enabling the Rheem EcoNet-enabled water heaters to work with the Nest Learning Thermostat.
- The Rheem Prestige™ Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater. Using a combination of heat pump technology and standard electric heating elements, the Prestige Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater is designed to save consumers more than $4,000 over the life of the appliance and pay for itself in less than two years.
- Rheem Inverter-Driven Solutions with the EcoNet-enabled Prestige Variable Speed Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps and Classic Plus™ Three-Stage Heat Pumps. New for the 2016 cooling season, these products are a complete line of 20-SEER fully variable speed air conditioning and heat pumps featuring industry-leading inverter-driven performance delivering precise controls, which maintain ideal home temperature, humidity level, and air quality at all hours of the day.
- The Rheem Prestige Series R97V Gas Furnace. This new patented furnace features modulation technology to minimize cold spots inside the home. It also maintains consistent temperature and humidly levels, and meets ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient product qualifications.
Also at the show, Rheem will debut its all-new Rheem and Ruud mobile apps. Developed for cross platform use on Android and iOS tablets and mobile phones (iPhone 5s and up), the new apps are full of mobile-friendly, dynamic content that will assist Rheem partners whether they are in their office or on a jobsite. The apps include product information and videos, the DesignStar™ load calculation tool, warranty and financing information, order forms, installation and troubleshooting checklists, company news, and marketing materials. The content – which can be customized to contractors, distributors, and sales support reps upon log-in - was developed after hours of interviews and ride-alongs with contractors across the United States.
Finally, the company will kick off its popular InstallNation contest at the AHR Expo. InstallNation allows contractors to submit a photo with a caption about installing Rheem or Ruud products. They then share the image on their social media channels to rack up votes from their followers. The contractor whose photo gets the most votes wins a fabulous prize. Last year, the InstallNation winners received vacation getaways for two to anywhere in the United States. More information can be found at www.Rheem.com/InstallNation and www.Ruud.com/InstallNation.
“The AHR Expo is always a highlight for Rheem and a great way to start the year,” said Bill Alderson, corporate director, marketing. “This year, we have so many exciting things to share with attendees—from the interactive Road Show to the new apps to the kick off of our InstallNation contest. We look forward to a productive—and fun—week in Orlando.”
