The ACR Show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 16-18 February 2016 is the ONLY national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors. Organiser Datateam Business Media has invested heavily in the new format of the event and is delighted to announce a number of new (and renewed) media partnerships as a result.

The International Promotion Journal of HV&AC in China has teamed up with The ACR Show as a media partner. Established for nearly 45 years and a leading publication for the HVAC&R industry, it focuses on the development of equipment and building technologies, their application and implementation. The journal produces a range of publications under its umbrella and has website, blog and We-Chat platform.

The International Promotion Journal of HV&AC has established a number of good relationships with international conferences and exhibitions, such as AHR EXPO in the US, CHILLVENTA in Gemany, MCE in Italy, CR in China, MCE Asia in Singapore and Interclima+elec in France, in addition to working with the EHPA and the International Solar Conference.

Journal Manager Zhang Leihua said: “The cooperation between The ACR Show and Journal of HV&AC is a win-win. The ACR show is the only HVAC&R exhibition in UK and as one of the oldest industrial countries in Europe; it’s a market that cannot be ignored. The ACR Show attracts a wide range of HVAC&R professionals and provides an opportunity to share latest technologies and marketing information, while discussing the hot topics of legislation, F-gas, new refrigerants and training.”

The ACR Show 2016 is set to attract end users in a range of industry sectors. It has renewed its media partnership with A1 Retail magazine, which is sent to key buyers and specifiers in the retail industry. Cally Law is the publication’s editor/director, she said: “I enjoy working with The ACR Show – our media partnership has always worked very well. The ACR Show fits well with the readers of A1 Retail Magazine and we are looking forward to working with the team for 2016.”

The education sector is a key market for the HVAC&R industry. With increasing numbers of academies and free schools springing up across the UK, the need for energy efficient heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems has never been greater. Working with Education Today magazine and its database of 35,000 educational professionals, this year’s marketing campaign has been designed to get even more key decisions makers within universities, further education colleges and schools to attend.

Commenting on another new media partnership, Karena Cooper said: “Energy Manager launched in February 2015 to assist all those working in the public sector energy environment, to source ideas, products, services and solutions. We are delighted to be working with this interesting new title to promote the 2016 Show.”

Originally launched in 1992, BFM has become ‘the’ total facilities management publication. Building & Facilities Management’s editorial content covers all the major FM areas of interest within the workplace and the built environment. It has been a media partner since The ACR Show’s launch in 2012 and will continue this support into 2016.

The following titles have also signed up to support the show as media partners: BSEE, Vending International, Process & Control, Energy Management, Industrial Compliance and Builders Merchant Journal (BMJ). Karena Cooper explains: “While ACR News and HVR are the show’s ‘official’ media partners if you like, these additional partnerships will be absolutely Key to the Show’s messaging from now until the event.

“We also have a strong advertising campaign either running or scheduled to run in a number of the titles already mentioned and a whole host of others, including PHAM News, Professional Engineering, CIBSE, EIBI, Refurb & Renew, Building Engineer, Modern Building Services, Building Engineer and more. There is no doubt that this is the biggest and most targeted campaign The ACR show has seen yet.”
