General Information of Efield PEX-Al-PEX pipe

PEX-Al-PEX pipe is a five-layer plastic and aluminium composite pipe; The inner layer and outer layer is cross-linked polyethylene; the middle layer is aluminium; and there is 2 layers of adhesive in between PEX and aluminium. The aluminium layer serves as an oxygen barrier, stopping the oxygen diffusion through the PEX layer, so that it cannot dissolve into the water in the pipe and corrode the metal components of the system of PEX-Al-PEX and fittings.

We produce 2 kinds of PEX-Al-PEX pipes, one is butt-welded PEX-Al-PEX pipe, and the other is overlaped PEX-Al-PEX pipe.

Of course, the raw material of the inner layer and outer layer can also be PERT, PE according to different usage and system requirement.
