Heat Recovery Wheel HRW

Heat recovery wheel (energy recovery wheel) / rotary wheel heat exchanger is used to install in air ducts, fresh air ventilators and air handling units, to recover the energy from exhaust air then transfer to fresh air. It's function is to save energy of air conditioning system. This our product offers a range of features and benefits that make it an ideal choice for different kinds HVAC projects. 

1. Two types rotary heat exchangers:
  (1) Sensible heat wheels (condensing wheels)
  (2) Enthalpy wheels (sorption wheels)

2. Different materials:
  (1) Sensible heat wheels are made of aluminium foil;
  (2) Enthalpy wheels are made of special aluminium foil with 3A molecular sieve coating

3. Except standard rotary heat exchangers, we also have anti-corrosive series and high-temperature resistant series HRW. 

1. Sensible heat type HRW and enthalpy type HRW both are available;
2. The 3A molecular sieve desiccant only allows water molecules to pass through and rejects all other pollutants;
3. Roter heat recovery wheels own particularly high structural strength (0.04mm / 0.05mm / 0.06mm thick aluminum foil are for option);
4. 2.0mm and 2.5mm wave height (honeycomb aperture height) are for option. The wheel thickness can be optional 200mm or 270mm;

5. Optional cassette materials: factory standard is powder coating cold-rolled steel, but galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminum-zinc steel cassettes are available too;

6. Wheel dia. can be selected from Φ500mm to Φ5000mm; Wheel can be delivered with different wheel sections; Cassette can be one-piece type or split type;

7. Highly polished surface: Within the range of 2000mm on the vertical surface, the horizontal deflection distance is less than 2mm, so that the air leakage rate can be minimized;
8. High heat recovery rate: When facing velocity is 3.5m/s and the air resistance is 170Pa, the rated heat recovery efficiency can be as high as 79%;
9. Built-in purge sector eliminates cross-contamination
10. The flexible dustproof brush minimizes the heat loss, also reduces friction, and prolongs the service life of the driving motor.

12. Wheel Materials: 

(1) Sorption wheel’s material (total heat type / enthalpy type):
    ◎Made of special aluminium foil with 3A molecular sieve coating 

(2) Condensation wheels’ materials (sensible heat type): 
    ◎Standard series (Code B): made of aluminium foil, optional thickness 0.04mm, 0.05mm, 0.06mm
    ◎Anti-corrosive series (Code F): aluminium foil with epoxy coating
    ◎High-temperature resistant series (Code G): aluminium magnesium alloy or chromite steel foil

Applied in Air Ducts: The heat pipe heat exchanger or it’s functional section can be directly connected with the air duct. The installation is simple and convenient. While realizing energy recovery, also saves investment

Applied in Fresh Air Ventilators: The heat pipe heat exchanger can be horizontally installed in the fresh air ventilator, and the energy recovery can be realized through the operation of the supply fan and exhaust fan
