Phenolic foam is a new type of material which has excellent performance in fire-proofing and thermal insulation area.

The exceptionally high level of closed cell and the fine cell structure gives phenolic foam excellent thermal properties.Closed cell phenolic foams are the most thermally efficient insulation materials commenly available. The product is manufactured is a number of forms including blocks,continuously produced flexible faced laminate,rigid faced laminates and composite panels in addition to highly specialized applications such as fire doors and molded products.

Being based on a phenolic resin it has outstanding fire characteristics and extremely low smoke emission when exposed to a flame source and non-toxic.So it is also a green insualting foam.

From the table, we can see, phenolic resin has excellent heat insulation performance and excellent fireproof performance is excellent, environmental building materials.30mm thick phenolic insulation properties equivalent to 50mm rock wool board, 40mm polystyrene, 60mm glass magnesium, 800mm common brick insulation.
