Brand Name: Tibright
Model Number: QJ-5
Place of Origin: Shandong, China (Mainland)
Availability: | Liquid gas flux can be used for torch brazing copper and copper alloy, steel and steel alloy, and stainless steel, and so on.
Physical descriptions: | Colorless transparent liquid, high volatility. Turn to white flocculation in wet atmosphere, and turn to white precipitate in water.
Product characters: | When liquid gas flux is used to braze copper, it is contained in the flame. This makes the welding work more convenient and qualified. In addition, the welding joints are neat and glossy; the residues are much more cleanable. The welding of red copper with this kind of flux can form colorful antioxidation coating. Due to the antioxidant ability of the flux to the metallic surface, the hazard of metallic oxide to workers’ body is minimized.
Application areas: | Very commonly used in the factory of radiator, air-conditioning, refrigerator, automobile, motorcycle, compressor, filter, health care equipment, metal furniture, ornaments and jewelry, and so on.

Safety: | Because of the high flammability, more than 10 meters distance from ignition should be strictly required in transportation and storage. Also, due to its high volatility and deliquescence, this flux has to be stored in cool and dry places. As it contains methanol and acetone, this flux should not contact with eyes nor be eaten. Workers should wear safety protections.
Operation and theory: | Liquid gas flux is used in flame brazing process because of its specialties of volatility and flammability. In practice, the fuel gas is pumped in to the flux generator also known as flux unit and flux, which contains the liquid gas flux, and evenly mixed with the gas-phase flux. The mixture goes into the welding torch and is flared together with oxygen, producing a green bright flame. A decomposition reaction happened to the flux during the combustion. The product, which is in gas phase at first, of this decomposition reaction is sprayed onto the work pieces generating a layer of flux by being liquefied. This liquid layer stays on the surface of the melted filler metals preventing them from being oxidized. Also it can enhance the wetting effect of the filler metal to the work pieces and thus trigger the flowing of the filler metal into the welding seams. This flux can dissolve the oxide of many kinds of metals, such as iron, copper, nickel, zinc and silver. Resolving of different metals appears different colors on the surfaces of the welding joint: copper appears amaranth; iron appears red; and other metals mostly appear black. The welding flame should be neutral flame. The operators should properly control the temperature of the welding area to avoid the over firing of the work pieces caused by the blind effect of the bright flame. The flame should not get direct touch to the filler metal because otherwise the alloy would be volatilized.
Preparation: | Post treatments: Comparing to solid flux, liquid gas flux does not generate Boron glassy residue and black oxide films which are very hard to get removed. This specialty can enormously reduce the labor of post treatment and welding cost. The following procedures can be applied to the work pieces which need electroplating and spray coating after welding. 1,Dip the work pieces in the hot water with the temperature higher than 85 |
