J type Thermocouple wire:

Jiangyin ChengXin Alloy Material Co.,Ltd offers a wide variety of Special Thermocouple wire.

The wires could be solid or stranded. The diameter and length could be customized.

Thermocouple wires include K type, J type, E type, T type, N type. Now, we will introduce J type thermocouple for you.

Type J thermocouple ( Fe-CuNi) is also named Fe-Constantan thermocouple.

Positive leg NiCr(KP) : Fe: pure iron

Negative leg CuNi(KN): Ni: about 45% Cu: about 55%

Although its negative leg is called Constantan, it doesn't give the same EMF output curve as EN and TN. It cannot be changed by EN and TN.

The operating temperature range of type J thermocouple is -210~2100oC, but it is usually used in the temperature range 0~750oC due to embrittlement of Iron.

Type J thermocouple has good resistance to oxidation and high EMF output against Platinum 67, with good temperature accuracy, sensitivity and stability. It is recommended for vacuum, oxidizing, reducing or inert atmospheres, but it can not be used in sulphurous atmosphere above 500oC.

Except thermocouple bare wires, we also produce thermocouples wires with jacket. These wires are available in a multitude of insulating jackets as well as protective metal overbraids if you need. Insulation could be PVC, XLPE, Teflon, Silicone rubber, etc

In addition, the negative and positive could be offered in a pair or separated.
