 Introduction 

The fire damper is widely installed supply or return air ducts in ventilation and air conditioning system. 

It normally keep open, When the temperature of fire that pass through the damper reaches the fusible 

temperature setting, the blade spring will close automatic to block fire smoke and flame extending. 

After the damper acts, it will reset by manual. 

It can meet the requirements of fire stability and fire integrity in a certain period time. It is usually installed

in the duct through the firewall. The main effect is preventing fire and smoke.

Working Principle

The fire damper is installed the central conditioning duct system. Its working principle is control the 

temperature of fusible alloy. The damper will be closed by the effect of gravity and spring. When it is fire, 

flame go into the ducts with the high temperature make the fusible alloy in the valve melting or make the 

memory alloy produces deformation to close the valve automatically. This series of damper is widely 

used in the places of air ducts with cross fire zone.

Technical Parameter

1.The damper is normally open condition usually. When the temperature inside the valve reaches 70C,

the fuse breaks and the valve will close with the force of spring and it will stop the smoke to extend in the air ducts.
2.Manual open or close the damper is available. And manual reset it after the damper acting. The damper has six 

gears which can be used to regulating air volume.
3.Round valve diameter is 250mm, when it is bigger than 700mm, it should be round outside and square 

inside structure.
4.Once the damper is closed, outputs the close electric signal 24V DV.
