CAV Constant Air Volume Damper for Hvac Ducts System
Introduction:
The mechanical constant air volume damper produced by our company is square or circular structure, which is used for constant air volume control. It is a mechanical automatic device without external power and is suitable for air supply and exhaust system.
The damper is composed of a valve plate, an air bag, a box, a bearing and a CAM structure with a spring plate. The control valve plate is supported by the shaft rod in the valve. The power generated by the flowing air positions the valve plate so that the flow rate is constant at the set value within the allowable differential pressure range.
The aerodynamic force acting on the control valve plate makes it close and is reinforced by the inflated air bag, which acts as vibration damping. The calibrated spring sheet produces a force against closing. The spring sheet is adjusted by the CAM, so that when the pressure difference changes, the Angle of the control valve sheet is automatically adjusted to keep the flow constant at the flow value with only a slight error.

Specifications |
The constant airflow damper shall operate without an electric or pneumatic external power supply. The damper casing shall be made of galvanized steel and the blade of aluminum. The damper shall operate with an adjustable spring. Dampers shall be factory-set to the required airflow rate. The damper with a manual adjustment device shall be able to be easily set or reset on the work site, during commissioning.
