[Scope of application]

1. This product is suitable for blood sample collection and anticoagulation in clinical biochemical examination and emergency biochemical examination. It is also suitable for blood sample collection and anticoagulation in some hemorheological items.

2. Heparin is recommended as an anticoagulant for the determination of ions in blood in clinical tests, because it is the least likely to interfere with the determination of other ions.

In order to ensure adequate anticoagulation of blood, it is necessary to reverse and mix 5-8 times as soon as possible after the completion of blood collection. Especially when the temperature of blood collection environment is higher than 25 C, the mixing of blood and heparin must be sufficient in time, otherwise blood coagulation or local coagulation will easily occur.

Heparin anticoagulation is not irreversible anticoagulation, so heparin anticoagulation test tube should be completed within 6 hours after blood collection, otherwise it may lead to errors in test results.

Heparin may be involved in the metabolism of enzymes and ions in cells, so the amount of heparin used may affect the detection results. The amount of heparin additive should ensure the full anticoagulation of all and part of the samples, so as to ensure that most of the plasma indicators can be repeated within 6 hours, especially AST, ALT, TBIL, DBIL, GGT and other sensitive indicators.

Heparin can be used in conjunction with separating gel. Anticoagulant effect, wall silicification, centrifugal condition and separating gel quality will affect blood separation effect. It is suggested that high quality plasma samples can be obtained by using the blood separating gel produced by our company.
