Its performance and each parameter index all reach the regulation of standard JB/T7228-94 <Volume Damper> of Machinery Industry Standard of People’s Republic of China. It can be widely used in air condition and ventilation system of industrial and civil, to achieve the purpose of controlling air volume exactly.

Introduction

The constant air volume control damper is also called constant air volume damper. It is a mechanical self-reliance device and applicable to the system needing constant air volume.  

It can reply on a flexible airflow-limited plate without outside power to make the air flow keep at the rated level in the allowed pressure difference range. The airflow with momentum can produce a torque toward to close direction on the airflow-limited plate. The automatic inflation air bag reinforces the close force and has an effect of damping in the same time. There is a counteractive spring lamination on the close torque of airflow-limited plate. The spring lamination is twined on a cam which can automatically adjust the position of airflow-limited plate when the pressure is changed, so the airflow is kept in the allowed error range.

Installation Instruction:

1. The installation of HY-DF-Q is quite convenient. There is flange at the both ends of the damper, which can ensure that the joint is gas tightness. If there is no flange, the joint can be also gas tightness by using other seal material.
2. It is necessary of shortest 1.5D straight pipe in front of installed entrance.
3. Remove all the burrs at the cut of air flue before installation and remove dirt. Insert the bevel seal ring applied with lubricant into the groove of joint pipe from opening.
4. We suggest to use the air flue same as that at the joint place, and fix it by evenly using tapping screw or hermetic rivet around.

HY-FDF-R

1. The other seal material is needed for the installation of HY-DF-R and the cost of installation is low. The joint can reach a good gas tightness.
2. It is necessary of shortest 1.5D straight pipe in front of installed entrance.

Material and Process

Technical Parameters

1. There are two ways of adjustment. The one way is hand operated, it can adjust the air flow to the desired value according to the scale and pointer outside. The second way is electrical control, it can adjust the rated air flow automatically by electric actuator.
2. There are two types of ends. The one type is equipped with pipe which meet the standards of DIN24145 or DIN24146 and GB50243-97. The seal ring is installed after inserting into the pipeline. The second type is equipped with flange which meet the standard of DIN24154 and GB50243-97.
3. The air leakage can reach the grade two, which meet the standards of VDI3803 or DIN V 24194 and GB50243-97.
4. It can be used as the air supply pipe or exhaust pipe, which is with the working temperature between 10~50°C and differential pressure range between 50~10000Pa.
5. Damping plate is flexible to rotate and without special maintenance. The air bag is a part of damping. It can make the measurement precision highly and flow scope is 4:1. The pointer outside can show the air flow scale and the scale error is about ±4%.
6. The shell and airflow-limited plate are made of galvanized steel plate. The spring lamination is made of stainless steel. The air bag is made of polyurethane.
7. The damper body length of setting air volume damper is no more than 400mm. Then min. inlet pressure is 100Pa.
8. The flow control error of various molds of setting air volume adjusting damper is less than 4%.

Maintenance

It does not often need the maintenance for setting air volume adjusting damper, but please notice the following:
1. The max. air supply volume should not excess 90% of the air volume rang of setting air volume adjusting damper for a long time, in order to extend the life of spring lamination of setting air volume.
2. The min. air volume of return air or air exhaust should not be less than 10% of the air volume rang of setting air volume adjusting damper. If it is less than 10%, the error of setting air volume adjusting damper will be more than 20% and make no sense for setting air volume.
3. When clean the damper body after installation, please do not drop any water or other liquid into the dial, in order to avoid rust and impact the life of spring and rotation shaft.
4. If the damper body is with electric actuator, it should pay more attention to maintain the electric actuator. Please refer to the operation manual.
