 when insulated additionally, please do not insulate the thermostat

 

  max. -45 °C prevents water pipes from freezing

 

  thermostat in the heater cable automatically switches the cable on

 

  always attach the heater cable to the underside of the pipe

 

  the water pipe must be earthed

 

  the heater cables must not be shortened and should therefore be ordered in the correct

 

length

 

 do not bend the heater cable and note the maximum bending radius of approx. 50 mm

 

  the heater cables can be secured to the pipe with insulating tape or aluminium tape

 

  if using plastic pipes, aluminium tape must be wrapped around the pipe before routing the heating cable

 

  the pipe and heater cable should be insulated with an insulation of at least 13 mm

 

  the thermostat on the heater cable should be attached at the coldest position on the pipe

 

  the thermostat may only be insulated moderately
