2022 AHRI (Air-Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute) Leadership Forum was opened at 9 a.m. on the 13th of November in U.S.A. Dr. Gao Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Sanhua Microchannel, Dan Anorld, Product Manager, and Michael Smith, Marketing Manager of Sanhua America, attended the meeting.
To achieve global carbon neutrality goals and energy revolution, it is a must to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry. On Oct. 31, the United States began to ratify Kigali Amendment. According to AHRI’s survey of more than 300 members in January 2022, top 5 focuses are optimizing system’s energy efficiency, refrigerant transformation, decarbonization technologies, tax incentives in the fields of energy efficiency, and global standards and certifications. With strong concerns about energy efficiency improvement and refrigerant transformation, AHRI has demonstrated ambition in promoting energy efficiency transformations in North America and around the world.
AHRI is an international standard setter for the global HVAC industry. In order to achieve the global goal of saving energy and reducing carbon emission, AHRI actively promotes globally applicable standards for carbon neutrality in North America and other parts of the world. Sanhua, as a leading enterprise in green transformation and innovation and a long-term partner of AHRI’s green development, will continue to strengthen multi-level in-depth cooperation with overseas industry associations to jointly promote the industry’s energy-efficient and low-carbon green transformation.
At present, Sanhua is involved in drafting and discussion of several AHRI technical standards for valves, air conditioning filters and other products, and participates in the workshop for the development and application of new pro-environmental refrigerants. Sanhua has been providing expertise in the fields of energy efficiency improvement and new alternative refrigerants.
With the vision of “develop smart low-carbon economy, create eco-friendly environment for mankind”, Sanhua adheres to “dedication and leadership”, “innovation and surpassing”, and will continue to closely cooperate with global mainstream industry associations and significant institutions, join in and lead the drafting of green standards, continuously develop and upgrade green and energy-efficient products, and continuously promote the industry to move forward on the road of green and low-carbon transformation.
