In recent years, the bilateral investment and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia has been on a rapid rise. Since 2013, China has maintained its position as Indonesia's largest trading partner for 10 consecutive years, and has been Indonesia's largest export destination for 7 consecutive years and the largest import source for 13 consecutive years. As the largest refrigeration and air-conditioning market in ASEAN, and the largest refrigeration and air-conditioning production and re-export base in ASEAN, Indonesia has a weak refrigeration industry foundation. Large air-conditioning mainframes, small refrigeration units, air conditioners, refrigeration equipment, refrigeration and air-conditioning accessories and other products are almost entirely dependent on importing, and their demand is growing at a rate of 15%-20% per year. As a country with a rapidly economy developing and an emerging consumption market, Indonesia's refrigeration industry has great development potential, which also provides a broad development space for more Chinese companies to enter the Indonesian market. At present, Gree, Midea, Daikin, Highly and other companies have established factories or branches in the local Indonesia.
