Refrigerant manufacturer Chemours has published a fact sheet outlining the status of refrigerant regulations in the US at both federal and state levels.
While the rest of the world moves to phase down HFCs under the internationally-agreed Kigali Amendment – or through stricter regimes like the European F-gas regulation – the US government’s failure to ratify has left it at odds with certain individual states who are now pursuing their own phase down timelines.
