The event drew installers, contractors and distributors from across the region, and provided them with the opportunity to view Fujitsu’s entire range of products, including its new R32 wall mounted model.
Installers and contractors were also able to take part in two CIBSE-approved CPD training courses, delivered throughout the day.
CPD One, ‘VRF Application and Design’, outlined the use and benefits of Fujitsu’s 3 pipe VRF heat recovery technology, while CPD Two, ‘An introduction to R32’, provided a detailed introduction to the R32 refrigerant, explaining why it has been chosen for the next generation of air conditioning systems.
Martyn Ives, technical service manager at Fujitsu, commented: “We’re incredibly proud of our training facilities at Elstree, so it was great to invite our key customers and give them the opportunity to see Fujitsu’s capabilities.
“The opportunity to gain some essential training also proved useful, and is always made easier by having live units to demonstrate on.
“Overall, the feedback we’ve had from the day has been great and we’re already filling up training courses for the New Year.”
As part of the open day, Fujitsu invited Advanced Engineering and Pump House to display a selected range of equipment to complement the Fujitsu air conditioning range.
In addition, Fujitsu held an exclusive raffle for all attendees, with the main prize consisting of a Fujitsu 2kW R32 wall mounted unit.
