Alluvial Garnet sand is a kind of almandine garnet sand from river beach or sea beach. Garnet sand is an excellent abrasive blasting media for wild blasting for its high hardness and low cost comparing with artificial abrasive media. The Alluvial garnet sand is of higher hardness and less dust than rock garnet sand. Especially the river garnet sand is more suitable for the dust removal and surface treatment in anti-corrosion applications. Alluvial garnet sand 80 mesh performs good for waterjet cutting as well with even particle size distribution, few dust. The cutting efficiency is higher than other types of garnet sand.
Features:
1. Dustfree. Alluvial river garnet sand particle is sieved directly instead of crushing in advance as rock garnet. So dust is low and there is no cracks in the sand.
2. High hardness. The Mohs hardness of alluvial garnet sand is 8.0. And the inner structure is tight.
3. High garnet purity. The purity of alluvial garnet river sand is min.98%. High purity caused good quality.
4. Low conductivity. The alluvial river garnet is scoured time and time in fresh water. There is no salt content which is harmful for anti-corrosion application.
