Mitsubishi Electric is facing the new F-gas regulations challenge by offering new environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional HFC refrigerants and expanding its proposal for green refrigerant units. With this in mind, Mitsubishi Electric is proud to present the new Climaveneta branded chiller and reversible heat pump FOCS2-W-G05, with R513A refrigerant, screw compressors, and shell and tube condenser.
The FOCS2-W-G05 series is available with cooling capacity of 305 to 2410 kW from one to four compressors. All units ensure an accurate thermoregulation that allows the unit to adapt to the different thermal loads required, with extreme precision. Elevated performance is ensured by the optimal design of each individual component.
With continuous modulation of cooling capacity, guaranteed by sophisticated control logics, the unit is always able to adapt to the needs of the HVAC system. The compact, essential design of FOCS2-W-G05 allows for greater flexibility when designing the HVAC system in addition to providing easy installation on site, even when the units are installed in small spaces, which often occurs with the replacements of old units.
With two efficiencies and a variety of acoustic configurations, ranging from Base to Plus enclosures, FOCS2-W-G05 maximizes the system's energetic performance and reduces the sound level by up to 18 dB(A).
In addition to the standard version, which only produces chilled water, FOCS2-W-G05 has three additional configurations for heat recovery; partial heat recovery: a desuperheater on the compressor discharge line recovers about 20% of the unit's capacity; total heat recovery with one dedicated refrigerant water heat exchanger recovering all the condensation heat; finally there is the heat pump reversible on the hydraulic side configuration.
