BANGKOK, July 3, 2017 Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Thailand's Ministry of Commerce has joined force with The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) through its Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Club and Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications and Allied Industry Club, to organize Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning 2017 (Bangkok RHVAC) and Bangkok Electric & Electronics 2017 (Bangkok E&E). As the world's leading trade events, the two fairs set to showcase Thailand's great potential as the world's leading producer of innovative and high standard of RHVAC, electric and electronic products.

Mrs. Malee Choklumlerd, DITP's Director General disclosed during the recent Organizing Committee meeting that: "Thailand is internationally-recognized as global production base of this particular industries. Presently, we ranked the world's largest producer and exporter of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) which is widely used in the Cloud Computing System and social network platforms where number of users worldwide is constantly on the rise. In addition, as the world's second biggest producer of air-conditioning units and the fourth largest for refrigerators, it is undoubtedly that products from Thailand are trusted for its internal standards and progressive innovations. The Bangkok RHVAC, to be held under the theme "Eco Innovation for a Sustainable Future, will highlight eco-friendly innovation while the Bangkok E&E will underline the concept of "Smart Innovation for an Ultimate Lifestyle" by showcasing latest technology trends that help enhancing consumers' convenience such as electronics products that can remotely controlled with smartphones."

"DITP aims to bring together 1,000 exhibition booths and will attract over 10,000 visitors from both local and major international markets such as ASEAN, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, to name but a few. The two fairs will generate more than 3 billion baht of revenue," Director General concluded.
